How to View Information on the Tree.

Viewing is pretty easy, there are a few ways to find people on the tree and here are some of my favorites

Keep in mind that when viewing you must be logged in to see information of people the site considers as alive.

Searching.

The first obvious place to find someone is the search function. It’s at the top right.

You may enter any part of a persons name and find them.

Using the Tree to find someone.

If you look at the top of the page you will see some icons which are present on every page, this is the menu.

If you hover your mouse over Charts you will see a menu

With this software you will get 2 results from clicking on these if you are logged on or off. When you have an account your account is tethered to your entry in the Tree, so.. when say.. Kelly Phillips logs on and she clicks on the items here, it shows them from her point of view. If you are NOT logged on it shows them from the “default” point of view which is with me at the center.

When I made the tree (i’ve entered everyone in by hand) I made my entry first.

I like using the interactive tree and the ancestry chart. Using those you can usually find who you are looking for unless you don’t know how they are related to you.
